Posintra is looking for companies that offer drone services and those interested in the industry to join the project.
Drones will change the world over the next few years. Hundreds of different uses have already been invented and new ones are emerging at a rapid pace. Even though the drone business is still small, it is expected to grow tremendously.
Posintra is involved in the Carbon Neutral Drone Service Solutions in Southern Finland project, which aims to promote and test new solutions for replacing internal combustion engine vehicles and make carbon neutral and fast deliveries. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
In Porvoo, Posintra’s mission is to build a network of local drone businesses and support the development of new business models.
Experienced drone entrepreneurs as well as new players or those interested in the industry are welcome to join the project.
– The project will bring together scientists, developers and companies to disseminate knowledge and experience in the industry as effectively as possible, and to create a network that benefits all, says Christina Sani of Posintra.
The project involves workshops to share information on legislation, to create networks and to support innovation. The first Porvoo workshop will be held in the spring of 2020.
